Everroad

Terms

The terms

A few simple ground rules for the road.

Welcome

These terms cover playing Everroad, in your browser at play.everroad.app or in the desktop app, and using everroad.app. Everroad is made by RetroDev Games, a small independent studio in New Zealand. By playing, you agree to them. They're kept short on purpose, and if anything is unclear, write to us at [email protected].

Playing Everroad

Everroad is free to play for your own enjoyment. Stream it, record it, make videos of it and share your photos, monetised or not. We'd love to see what you make.

Please don't copy, resell or reupload the game or its files, or pass it off as your own. Some of its music, models and sounds belong to the people who made them, and the Credits page in the game says who. They stay theirs, under their own licences.

Driving together

Convoys are for friends enjoying the road together. Be kind to the people you drive with. Don't harass anyone, cheat, or spoil other drivers' journeys on purpose. If someone isn't playing nicely, you can leave the convoy any time, and its host can ask anyone to leave.

What's yours

The photos you take and the roads you save are yours to keep and share however you like. If you send us feedback or ideas, we're free to use them to make Everroad better, without owing anything for them. Thank you for every one.

Steam and Discord

When you play through Steam, Steam's own Subscriber Agreement covers your account, downloads and anything bought there. Showing what you're doing on Discord, and anything else you do there, is covered by Discord's terms. How we handle your information is on our privacy page.

The road ahead

Everroad is a work of love that keeps growing. It will change over time, things may sometimes not work as they should, and we can't promise it will always be available. Saves in a browser live in that browser, so clearing its data clears them too.

Everroad is offered as it is, without guarantees. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for any loss that comes from playing it or not being able to. Nothing here takes away rights that the law where you live gives you.

If these terms change, the new version will be here, with its date below. New Zealand law applies to them.
